Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Aang and Katara to lead an aggressive Ally tribal and token strategy. The game plan focuses on casting early Allies and mana engines like Cryptolith Rite and Great Divide Guide, which tap creatures for mana and waterbend costs. When the commander enters and attacks, it counts these tapped permanents to flood the battlefield with 1/1 white Ally creature tokens. Payoffs such as Katara, the Fearless double these triggers, while Appa, the Vigilant, Sokka's Charge, and Katara, Water Tribe's Hope turn the token swarm into an overwhelming lethal force. The deck supports this aggressive core with resilient board protection like Hakoda, Selfless Commander and flexible tempo interaction through the airbend mechanic. It reliably threatens the table by Turn 6 and finishes games by Turn 7.
