Deck overview

This deck is an Esper go-wide token and tempo strategy commanded by Alela, Artful Provocateur. It capitalizes on a dense suite of 1-to-2 CMC artifacts and enchantments to accelerate mana, trigger Alela's token engine, and flood the board with evasive 1/1 flying Faeries. The deck smoothly transitions into the mid-game by converting token generation into card draw via Skullclamp and Tocasia's Welcome. As the air force expands, flying-matters anthems like Glen Elendra Liege and Thunderclap Wyvern inflate token stats, while drain triggers from Mirkwood Bats and Obyra, Dreaming Duelist punish opponents directly. The endgame is closed out either through evasive combat saturation, an overwhelming overrun via Moonshaker Cavalry, or disruptive table swaps using Inniaz, the Gale Force. Defensively, the list protects its proactive engine through efficient spot removal, pinpoint counterspells, and board protection like Guardian of Faith.
