Deck overview

This deck is a spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a win condition and a massive ritual engine: every noncreature spell adds a +1/+1 counter and burns each opponent for 1 damage, while his activated ability adds mana equal to his power once per turn. The deck sequences low-mana cantrips, card selection, and evasion spells to rapidly grow Vivi, generate large bursts of mana, and pressure opponents simultaneously through table-wide burn and unblockable commander damage. Backed by support creatures like Guttersnipe and Coruscation Mage, the deck turns ordinary spell velocity into substantial life total swings. While highly explosive when Vivi goes unanswered, the deck relies heavily on its commander staying in play and carries minimal hard tutors, requiring careful management of countermagic to shield key development turns.
