Saruman Combo Deck by Moonsugar

Format: Commander

Commander: Saruman, the White Hand

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Saruman, the White Hand is a spellslinger-combo commander in Grixis. The primary plan is to use a dense cantrip/tutor package to assemble a compact Magecraft loop: Chain of Smog with either Professor Onyx or Ral, Storm Conduit deals lethal life loss from infinite copies. A Twinflame/Dualcaster package adds an infinite-haste-token combat route, and Saruman itself provides a resilient amass beatdown fallback, growing an Orc Army from every noncreature spell while granting Goblins and Orcs ward. Veyran and Vivi support the Magecraft engine but are optional. The deck is commander-independent in its combo lines, using the commander more for redundancy, protection, and a secondary combat plan.
