Deck overview

This Bant deck is helmed by Mr. Foxglove, combining creature-cheating velocity with animal kindred synergies and explosive hand-refill mechanics. The strategy focuses on establishing early ramp to deploy the commander on Turn 4, enabling attack-based card advantage or free deployment of massive threats like Old Gnawbone and Twenty-Toed Toad on Turn 5. The 99 features deep redundancy in token generators, +1/+1 counter engines, and draw engines like Ms. Bumbleflower and Helga, Skittish Seer. With secondary win routes through Psychosis Crawler drain and Simic Ascendancy growth counters, the deck transitions from value generation into an overwhelming combat board. It defends itself with versatile removal, combat fogs, and protective instant spells while pressuring the entire table.
