Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai blink and spellslinger midrange build commanded by Shiko, Paragon of the Way. The game plan focuses on filling the graveyard early with versatile 1- to 3-mana spells via efficient looting, then casting Shiko on Turn 4 to freely cast copies of impactful permanents, removal, or blink spells. Once established, the deck transitions into a lethal clock by triggering go-wide token producers like Monastery Mentor, Third Path Iconoclast, and Kykar, Wind's Fury, alongside burn engines like Guttersnipe and Molten Gatekeeper. An array of instant-speed blink spells like Ghostly Flicker and Scrollshift serves double duty: re-triggering enter-the-battlefield abilities for compounding card advantage while protecting key creatures from opposing targeted removal. The deck closes games by overwhelming opponents through explosive prowess combat damage and unblockable table-wide burn triggers.
