Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Boros Dwarf-tribal engine that turns every Dwarf entering the battlefield into a Treasure token and every artifact token into raw power. The primary plan is to flood the board with hasty Dwarves, layers of Equipment and anthem effects, then finish with an overwhelming single turn using Akroma's Will or Boros Charm. Secondary lines use Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Dwarven Recruiter to tutor key Dwarves or artifacts, and Smothering Tithe, Xorn, or Academy Manufactor to explode the Treasure supply. The commander is the central value engine, but Magda acts as an honorary hidden commander for Treasure tutoring and combat-speed artifact tutoring.
