Azlask - The Swelling Swarm by EverDope

Format: Commander

Commander: Azlask, the Swelling Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Azlask, the Swelling Scourge leads a five-color Eldrazi kindred deck focused on token production, aristocrat sacrifices, and overrun combat finishes. The primary strategy swarms the battlefield with 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn and 1/1 Scion tokens using engines like Writhing Chrysalis, Awakening Zone, and Glaring Fleshraker. Sacrificing these tokens ramps your mana while accumulating experience counters through Azlask and Minthara. Once you establish a critical mass of tokens and counters, activate Azlask's five-color ability to grant your swarm massive power, indestructible, and annihilator 1 to wipe out opponents. Secondary paths leverage Echoes of Eternity copying, Glaring Fleshraker burn damage, or colossal Eldrazi titans to close the game.
