Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal strategy that leverages The Ur-Sphinx's Eminence ability alongside artifact ramp and cost reducers to deploy expensive, high-impact flying creatures ahead of curve. The primary engine centers on Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, which slashes Sphinx casting costs and turns every creature deployment into a Fact or Fiction trigger. By Turn 5, the deck floodgates the board with massive flying threats such as Magister Sphinx, Tivit, Seller of Secrets, and Sphinx of the Second Sun. Once an overwhelming aerial board is established, the deck closes the game through heavy combat damage over two attack steps (Turns 6 and 7), supplemented by The Ur-Sphinx casting free spells from opponents' milled cards. While the deck has massive card draw and resilient recovery, it relies heavily on creature combat and carries limited instant-speed countermagic to protect against board wipes.
