Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Mardu aggro build centered around Tsagan, Raider Warlord and the Speed mechanic. The strategy curves out with low-cost first-strike and token-generating creatures on early turns before resolving Tsagan to rapidly increase engine speed and trigger scalable power buffs. By granting large +X/+0 bonuses to each creature with first strike or double strike, the deck turns modest boards into lethal threats. Reaching Max Speed turns Tsagan into a deathtouch threat while granting first strike across the rest of the board, maximizing both combat math and survivability. High-impact combat doublers like Isshin, Two Heavens as One and finishers like Akroma's Will accelerate table lethality. The deck backs up its proactive aggression with premier spot removal, free commander interaction, and resilient protection spells, ensuring it maintains momentum through board wipes and targeted disruption.
