Deck overview

This mono-red stompy deck uses Tannuk, Steadfast Second to cheat expensive red creatures and artifacts into play for just three mana. By granting warped permanents haste, Tannuk turns colossal threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Cityscape Leveler, and Ancient Copper Dragon into immediate combat damage and massive value engines. Because warp exiles permanents at the end of turn, the deck leverages tools like Sundial of the Infinite and Conjurer's Closet to keep them permanently, alongside burn multipliers like Terror of the Peaks and Warstorm Surge to punish opponents. The mana base of 35 basic Mountains supports high-output rocks like Sceptre of Eternal Glory and Extraplanar Lens. While the deck possesses explosive power and rapid clock speed, it relies heavily on its commander to bypass hefty mana costs and runs limited stack interaction, making early commander protection and smart sequencing essential for victory.
