Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating burn engine and a burst mana generator, gaining +1/+1 counters and pinging each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The strategy focuses on deploying Vivi early, establishing continuous card advantage through engines like Curiosity, Archmage Emeritus, or Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, and chaining low-cost cantrips to fuel explosive turns. A single Curiosity on Vivi draws three cards per noncreature spell cast, allowing the deck to dig through its entire library in one turn while generating mana with Vivi's {0} ability and Storm-Kiln Artist. The deck closes games via table-wide ping damage, storm payoffs like Grapeshot, or the compact infinite combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Backed by dense counterspells and efficient removal, it presents a lethal, fast-closing clock.
