Deck overview

This deck utilizes Tahngarth, First Mate to turn the multiplayer format into an aggressive attrition engine. Because Tahngarth cannot be blocked by more than one creature, pairing him with menace effects like Sticky Fingers or Frenzied Rage makes him completely unblockable. Forced-combat pieces such as Goblin Spymaster, Fumiko the Lowblood, and Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer compel opponents to attack one another, allowing Tahngarth to jump into combat on every player's turn. This multi-combat trigger spreads commander damage rapidly across the table while drawing cards through combat-damage engines like Keen Sense and Snake Umbra. Defensive tools such as Crawlspace and Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs protect your own life total, and redirect spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend keep Tahngarth safe from interaction.
