Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color big-spells strategy commanded by Jodah, Archmage Eternal. The primary game plan focuses on rapid mana fixing and acceleration during the first two turns, deploying Jodah on Turn 3, and using Jodah's ability to pay {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} on Turn 4 to cheat out game-warping 7-to-10 mana spells. The deck features a dense package of format-ending payoffs, including Apex Devastator, Emergent Ultimatum, Omniscience, Time Stretch, and Ruinous Ultimatum. Once a critical bomb resolves on Turn 4, the deck generates overwhelming board presence, extra turns, or total asymmetric board wipes. Finishers like Archfiend of Despair, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Eldrazi titans allow the pilot to eliminate all three opponents on Turn 5 across a single response cycle. While highly explosive, the deck depends on maintaining 5-color mana access and protecting Jodah from early removal, relying on backup engines like Fist of Suns and big-mana dorks when disrupted.
