Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange strategy centered on the Paradox mechanic. Commanded by The Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan, the deck aims to cast cards from zones other than the hand—primarily exile, the graveyard, and the library via cascade, rebound, flashback, and impulse draw. Yasmin Khan provides steady impulse card advantage, while The Thirteenth Doctor rewards these casts by placing +1/+1 counters on creatures and untapping them at each end step. This creates an engine where Yasmin can tap repeatedly across turn cycles. The deck transitions into the late game by deploying heavy payoffs like Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Iraxxa, Empress of Mars, and Sisterhood of Karn to generate wide token swarms and directed burn damage. Because it relies heavily on creature permanents and lacks stack interaction, the deck thrives in combat-oriented environments but struggles against fast combo decks and frequent board wipes.
