Deck overview

This Grixis discard-value and wizard-synergy deck is helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The front face forces each player to discard on ETB or attack, then draws based on discarded card types, fueling asymmetric engines like Waste Not, Bone Miser, Geth's Grimoire, and Tergrid, God of Fright. Flicker pieces (Displacer Kitten, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, Y'shtola Rhul) and doublers (Naban, Dean of Iteration, Panharmonicon, Harmonic Prodigy) multiply the triggers. The back face converts life-loss into massive card draw. Primary wins are layered combos (Underworld Breach + Brain Freeze, Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity, Psychosis Crawler/Sheoldred, the Apocalypse drains, Vivi Ornitier pings) backed by wheels, reanimation, and a dense free-interaction suite. The deck plays as disruptive midrange that grinds value then closes through storm, infinite draw-damage, or attrition.
