Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet Pirate tribal and Treasure synergy deck commanded by Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider. The primary game plan centers on deploying low-cost Pirates and Equipment early to generate Treasure tokens through combat damage and entry triggers. Each artifact entering the battlefield triggers Captain Storm, placing +1/+1 counters onto your Pirate army to steadily scale offensive pressure while stockpiling mana for explosive turns. Mid-game card advantage engines like Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, and Breeches, Brazen Plunderer keep resources flowing as you develop the board. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide, evasive combat backed by damage doublers such as Angrath's Marauders, extra combat steps from Port Razer, direct artifact burn via Fathom Fleet Swordjack, or an alternate win with Mechanized Production.
