when life gives you lemons by user5519189

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Teysa Karlov is a death-trigger aristocrats engine in Orzhov. The primary plan is to stack death triggers (Blood Artist, Vengeful Bloodwitch, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim), double them with Teysa, and convert those triggers into repeated life swings while sacrificing creatures through Warren Soultrader or Vampiric Rites. Secondary paths include a compact recursive combo with Forsaken Miner, Warren Soultrader, and a drain creature, plus mass recursion via Raise the Past or Case of the Uneaten Feast to rebuild after wipes. The commander is a force multiplier, not a combo piece; the deck can still drain slowly without her, but Teysa roughly halves the number of cycles needed.
