Tidus, Counter's Hero by Mirow

Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian leads a Bant +1/+1-counter deck that piles counters on a wide board and turns it sideways. The primary plan is combat: Tidus moves counters onto attackers, draws and proliferates when they connect, and pump effects such as Maester Seymour, Ouroboroid, and Forgotten Ancient inflate the team. A secondary plan converts counter mass into non-combat reach through Kami of Whispered Hopes and Walking Ballista, sometimes looping with Evolution Witness. Yuna, Grand Summoner is the closest thing to a hidden commander, supplying mana and extra counters, while the Dion//Bahamut double-faced card provides a one-sided counter pump and removal. The deck is a midrange aggro-combo hybrid that wins by a turn-7/8 alpha strike or a large Ballista.
