Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads an aggressive Grixis kindred strategy that blends combat pressure with discard and connive synergies. The deck focuses on assembling a resilient army of Villains, generating evasive menace tokens, and sculpting hands through connive triggers. As nonland cards are discarded to buff attackers or lands are pitched to trigger Doctor Doom's direct life drain, the deck steadily exhausts opponent life totals. In the mid-to-late game, impactful finishers like The Squadron Sinister, Titania, Proud Pummeler, and Doctor Octopus, Master Planner turn wide boards into game-ending combat waves. While the deck possesses flexible board removal and asymmetric sweepers such as Kindred Dominance, it carries minimal stack interaction and protection against mass board wipes, relying instead on high creature redundancy and steady token generation to maintain momentum across multiplayer tables.
