Format: Commander

Commander: Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Simic Tamiyo deck builds a Clue and artifact engine and wins through combat with animated artifacts. Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student attacks to make Clues and flips into Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar after your third draw, then recurs instants with -3 and draws half your library with -7. You multiply Clues with Erdwal Illuminator, Adrix and Nev and Academy Manufactor, draw with Rhystic Study and The Great Henge, and turn Clues into 6/6 Plants with Tangletrove Kelp or 4/4 flyers with Cyberdrive Awakener, finished by Kappa Cannoneer. Lonis, Cryptozoologist and Urza, Lord High Artificer act as hidden commanders, converting Clues to mana and stolen permanents. Peregrine Drake plus Deadeye Navigator into Walking Ballista gives an infinite-mana outlet, with Thassa's Oracle as backup.
