New Untitled Deck by user6642542

Format: Commander

Commander: Skullbriar, the Walking Grave

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a focused +1/+1 counter Voltron strategy helmed by Skullbriar, the Walking Grave. The primary game plan is to deploy Skullbriar as early as turn 2, leverage its haste to attack immediately, and rapidly accumulate counters using a dense package of counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire) and pump spells (Berserk, Solidarity of Heroes, Rancor). Evasion from Rogue's Passage, Shizo, Death's Storehouse, and Canopy Cover ensures the commander connects, while a robust suite of protection spells (Heroic Intervention, Tamiyo's Safekeeping, Gaea's Gift) keeps Skullbriar on the battlefield. The deck wins through commander damage, with secondary beats from other large creatures like Forgotten Ancient and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan. It eschews infinite combos in favor of a relentless, hard-to-disrupt combat plan.
