Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck is commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser, focusing on generating value whenever cards leave your graveyard. The deck combines rummage effects, flashback spells, and incidental graveyard exile to create an army of 3/2 Spirit tokens. In the early game, the deck fixes its mana, stocks the graveyard through looting, and deploys Quintorius on Turn 4. Once established, repeated graveyard triggers generate continuous board presence. Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability empowers these Spirits with double strike and vigilance, turning token swarms into lethal combat threats by Turn 6. Backup offensive plans include equipped aggression with Cloud, Planet's Champion and combat multipliers like Raphael, the Nightwatcher and Raiyuu, Storm's Edge. While resilient to moderate removal thanks to commander-based card filtering and recursion, the deck is vulnerable to mass creature sweepers and fast combo decks.
