Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheels and Group Slug strategy piloted by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The core game plan focuses on accelerating mana in the opening turns, deploying Nekusar or redundant draw punishers like Underworld Dreams and Razorkin Needlehead, and resolving symmetrical mass draw spells such as Windfall, Reforge the Soul, and Teferi's Puzzle Box. Each wheel forces opponents to draw 7 or more cards, dealing substantial noncombat damage while continuously disrupting their hand curation. Damage doublers and enhancers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Phyresis drastically compress the clock, turning single wheels into table-ending strikes. While the list eschews high-end fast mana and unconditional tutors, it achieves consistent execution through high redundancy across wheel spells and draw-trigger payoffs.
