Deck overview

This deck is an authentic Pre-Modern Commander build utilizing Cromat as a five-color color-identity commander to house a dedicated Aluren combo engine alongside a punishing mass land destruction subtheme. The primary strategy accelerates into Aluren using early ramp and Invasion depletion lands, enabling an instant-speed combo with Cavern Harpy, Raven Familiar, Soul Warden, Man-o'-War, and Ghitu Slinger to deal infinite damage to the table in a single turn. Survival of the Fittest acts as a premier creature toolbox to tutor combo pieces directly into hand. When combo routes are contested, the deck pivots cleanly to an oppressive attrition plan, resolving Armageddon, Cataclysm, or Jokulhaups to wipe the table's mana while growing a massive Terravore to close the game in combat. Backed by City of Solitude, Sterling Grove, and targeted disruption, the deck blends early combo lethality with brutal resource denial.
