Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger strategy commanded by Iroh, Grand Lotus. The game plan revolves around casting and binning cheap Lesson spells, then using Iroh's static ability to flash them back from the graveyard for a single mana. By turning the graveyard into a discounted second hand, the deck fuels powerful magecraft and token engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, Rite of the Dragoncaller, and Burning Vengeance. The deck generates high mana efficiency in the mid-game through Iroh's firebending mana and cheap flashback costs. Victory is achieved through wide boards of 5/5 flying Dragon tokens, unblockable prowess attacks enabled by Bria, Riptide Rogue, or direct burn from Coruscation Mage. While the deck has high card velocity and resilient recursion, it depends heavily on resolving its 6-mana commander and remaining free from targeted graveyard hate.
