Deck overview

Shalai, Voice of Plenty heads a green-white lifegain and populate strategy that turns incidental life gain into ever-growing boards of tokens and +1/+1 counters. The commander is a support piece rather than the engine: she shields fragile token and value creatures from targeted removal, while her {4}{G}{G} activated ability functions as a repeatable overrun once the board is wide. The real work is done by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, Rhys the Redeemed, Archangel of Thune, Crested Sunmare, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Finale of Devastation. The deck contains no infinite combos; instead it wins through compounding populate triggers, lifegain-triggered counter growth, a massive Storm Herd, the Aetherflux Reservoir life-snipe, or an X 10 Finale of Devastation haste swing. This is a fair, mid-speed board-development deck that wants to outlast opponents and close in a single overwhelming turn.
