Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck pairs Karlach, Fury of Avernus with the Background Flaming Fist to build a lethal combat engine straight from the command zone. The primary game plan accelerates mana through low-cost rocks on early turns, establishes Flaming Fist, and deploys Karlach to initiate consecutive combat steps. Across two combats, Karlach attacks with double strike and first strike, dealing 20 commander damage in a single turn cycle and putting opponents on a rapid elimination clock. A dense suite of goad effects, including Disrupt Decorum, Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer, and Fast Forward, prevents opponents from attacking you while forcing potential blockers into tapped positions. Supporting creatures like Duke Ulder Ravengard, Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals, and Etali, Primal Storm offer redundant combat pressure, while equipment provides evasion and protection.
