Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Group Slug and Aristocrats build helmed by Mogis, God of Slaughter. The primary strategy focuses on grinding down opposing life totals and creature boards through inexorable passive attrition, damage multipliers, and recurring sacrifice loops. Because Mogis, God of Slaughter is an indestructible enchantment at low devotion, it establishes an early, highly resilient clock that forces opponents to choose between sacrificing board presence or taking steady damage. The deck supports this pressure by combining recursive creatures like Bloodghast and Forsaken Miner with free sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and pingers like Mayhem Devil. In the mid-to-late game, the deck accelerates its clock exponentially through damage doublers and triplers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Fiery Emancipation, or through large drain finishers like Cut // Ribbons. While lacking countermagic and enchantment removal, the deck excels at punishing creature-heavy boards and winning through compounding noncombat damage.
