Deck overview

This deck is a four-color control build centered on Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable polymorph engine in the command zone. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost token generators such as Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Black Market Connections during the opening turns. Once reaching five mana across white, blue, black, and red, the deck casts Jace and uses his minus 3 loyalty ability to transform fragile tokens into monstrous payoffs, including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Blightsteel Colossus, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and high-loyalty Bolas planeswalkers. An interaction suite of efficient counterspells, spot exile removal, and free commander protection spells like Deflecting Swat defends the setup. Top-deck manipulation tools such as Scroll Rack and Brainstorm ensure that high-cost bombs remain in the library rather than stranded in hand. The deck steadily grinds out the table through overwhelming card advantage, asymmetric resource denial, and lethal combat pressure.
