Deck overview

This is a classic Elfball deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, built to swarm the battlefield with cheap Elf creatures, generate overwhelming mana via a dense suite of mana dorks, and close out games through one of several infinite mana combos, a massive Craterhoof Behemoth pump, or Lathril's own table-wide drain ability. The deck's primary game plan involves deploying early one-drop Elves like Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic, then using lords and untap synergies to turn small creatures into a mana-producing engine. Combos often revolve around Priest of Titania or Elvish Archdruid plus Wirewood Symbiote to loop infinite green mana, then using Staff of Domination or Lathril's activated ability to drain all opponents. The commander is a combo outlet but not required for the core combos; the deck can function at full capacity without her.
