Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck combines Wurm tribal beatdown with Trostani, Selesnya's Voice's populate and lifegain engine. The primary game plan accelerates early mana using dorks, land ramp, and tribal cost reducers to deploy massive Wurm threats and token generators ahead of schedule. Once a large token such as a 5/5 Wurm, an 8/8 Elemental, or a 15/15 Worldspine Wurm token is on the battlefield, Trostani buffers your life total while cloning the largest token every turn. Token multipliers like Parallel Lives and Second Harvest exponentially increase your board presence, while Baru, Wurmspeaker and Garruk's Uprising grant crucial trample and stat buffs to close out the game through overwhelming combat damage. The deck features strong creature-based interaction through Aura Shards and resilient death triggers that leave behind replacement tokens after board wipes.
