Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon tribal midrange and stompy powerhouse commanded by The Ur-Dragon. Leveraging the commander's eminence ability from the command zone, every Dragon spell in the 99 receives an unconditional one-mana discount from turn one. The early game focuses on establishing five-color fixing and mana velocity through ramp artifacts, cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman, and land search. By turns 4–5, the deck transitions into deploying recurring draw engines such as Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising, setting up sustained card replenishment. Critical onset occurs around Turn 6 when game-ending threats like Atarka, World Render, Tiamat, or Kindred Summons enter the battlefield, presenting overwhelming aerial combat damage and burst damage from Dragon Tempest. The deck closes out the game by Turn 8 across two combat rotations. While vulnerable to early color screw and well-timed sweepers, its deep threat density, mass recursion in Bloodline Bidding, and commander-independent backup lines ensure formidable resilience.
