Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Under Tovolar, Dire Overlord, this is a Gruul Werewolf beatdown deck built around turning the board sideways with Wolves and Werewolves while using Tovolar's combat-damage draw trigger to keep the hand full. The plan is to ramp early, deploy cheap werewolves, cross the three-creature threshold to make it night, then snowball with lords like Immerwolf and Mayor of Avabruck // Howlpack Alpha, token engines like Hollowhenge Overlord, and transform payoffs like Cult of the Waxing Moon. The deck wins through a single massive combat rather than infinite combos: Beastmaster Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede, and Berserkers' Onslaught turn a wide wolf board into lethal damage, while Relentless Assault and Great Train Heist provide extra combat steps that complete all combats in the same turn. Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge's activated ability also lets the team push through with trample and extra power.
