Ygra by user3048548

Format: Commander

Commander: Ygra, Eater of All

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ygra, Eater of All is the keystone of this Golgari value-control deck: her type-changing ability turns every opposing creature into a Food artifact, so each of the deck's artifact/enchantment removal spells can kill a creature and simultaneously put two +1/+1 counters on Ygra. The primary plan is to ramp into Ygra, clear the board with flexible removal, and finish with commander damage, preferably with trample from Garruk's Uprising. Secondary paths are the Karn+Mycosynth Lattice hard lock, a Food engine built around Gilded Goose, Tireless Provisioner, and Hazel's Brewmaster, and Squirrel tokens from Camellia. There is no hidden commander; Ygra is the engine and finisher.
