Deck overview

This Temur landfall deck is helmed by Zagorka, Mother of Sanctum, a political commander whose end-step ability offers opponents a tapped land token in exchange for not attacking you. The deck's true engine, however, is the dense landfall package: every land drop triggers a cascade of token creation, +1/+1 counters, card draw, and extra combats. With Moraug, Fury of Akoum providing additional combat phases and Avenger of Zendikar / Scute Swarm generating overwhelming boards, the primary win condition is combat damage from a swarm of tokens. Support pieces like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives multiply the token output, while Rhystic Study and Tatyova, Benthic Druid keep the hand full.
