Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats Combo deck commanded by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. Its primary game plan is assembling an infinite sacrifice loop to instantly drain the entire table. The most efficient line utilizes Buried Alive or self-sacrifice to place Leonin Relic-Warder into the graveyard, followed by Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead. When the Aura reanimates the Relic-Warder, the Relic-Warder exiles the Aura, dies due to the Aura leaving the battlefield, and triggers its own leave-the-battlefield ability to return the Aura and restart the cycle. With Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim or redundant payoffs like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat on the battlefield, each iteration drains 1 life from all opponents. Secondary lines include Gravecrawler plus Warren Soultrader to generate infinite enters-and-dies triggers. Supported by efficient Orzhov removal and resilient graveyard recursion, the deck reliably attempts a lethal finish on Turn 5.
