The King Under The Mountain - Thorin, King of Durin's Folk Bracket 2 Deck by Aksyis

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf tribal deck is helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, a lord that creates a Treasure token whenever a Dwarf enters the battlefield and pumps other Dwarves for each artifact token you control. The primary game plan is to flood the board with Dwarf creatures, generate a glut of Treasure tokens, arm them with Equipment, and overwhelm opponents through combat damage. Key finishers include Balin, Loremaster (discard-hand draw and direct damage via the "Storied" mechanic), Dain of the Ancient Halls (deals damage equal to your Dwarf count to each opponent on attack), and Smaug the Magnificent (deals damage equal to your Treasure count). The deck operates as a midrange aggro strategy with incremental value, lacking infinite combos and relying on creature mass, Equipment synergies, and the "Storied" threshold for additional bonuses.
