Commander: Maha, Its Feathers Night

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maha, Its Feathers Night is a mono-black board-control and drain deck. Its commander turns every 1-damage pinger and -X/-X effect into a one-sided wrath, so Pestilence, Pestilence Demon, and Plague Spitter clear the opponent's side while Sangromancer, Starscape Cleric, and Venerated Stormsinger convert those deaths into life and life loss. A substantial reanimation package protects the plan against wipes, and discard effects plus Bandit's Talent keep opponents low on cards. The deck finishes with a mana-heavy Exsanguinate, or with Peer into the Abyss plus Underworld Dreams. There is no hidden commander; the extra legends (Arnyn, Yargle, Jecht, Xu-Ifit) are support pieces.
