Deck overview

Prismari, the Inspiration rewards a high spell count, but the commander costs seven mana and does not provide immediate deterministic damage. The strongest supported plan is to deploy Storm-Kiln Artist, cast Prismari on a later turn, then use cheap cantrips, cost reducers, and rituals to build storm while Treasures fund additional spells. Boltwave is the clearest scalable payoff because each copy deals 3 damage to every opponent. The deck also has good selection, a substantial counterspell package, and several sweepers. Its main weakness is that the required commander-and-engine assembly is slow and its finish is not compact: a large storm count is possible, but ordinary draws do not reliably produce enough damage or a deterministic alternate win. Thousand-Year Storm is a credible backup engine, while Laboratory Maniac and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary provide conditional card-draw routes rather than a dependable primary finish.
