Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kibo, Uktabi Prince leads a Gruul Ape/Monkey tribal deck that leverages artifact destruction to grow its creatures. The primary plan involves casting Kibo early, using his tap ability to generate Banana tokens, then destroying artifacts (including those Bananas) to put +1/+1 counters on all your Apes and Monkeys. The deck combines a dense suite of artifact removal spells with beefy tribal beaters like Silverback Shaman, Kogla and Yidaro, and Grunn, the Lonely King to win through combat damage. Card advantage comes from Garruk's Uprising, Viridian Revel, and Party Dude, while Inspiring Call provides a one-shot protection boost. The deck has no infinite combos, relying entirely on growing a wide board of trampling primates to overpower opponents in the mid-to-late game.
