Commander: Slimefoot and Squee

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Jund list is a Saproling-token aristocrats build helmed by Slimefoot and Squee. The commander provides a steady Saproling source and a repeatable reanimation engine, sacrificing a token to return another creature from the graveyard - and itself if it died during the exchange. The 99 wraps that engine in a dense token base: Tana, the Bloodsower, Tendershoot Dryad, Verdant Force, Sporemound, Sprout Swarm, and Golgari Germination, all feeding a web of drain/burn payoffs: Impact Tremors, Bastion of Remembrance, Slimefoot, the Stowaway, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, and Goblin Bombardment. The deck wins by grinding the table down on ETB and death triggers backed by wide combat, with explosive turns from City on Fire, Sneak Attack into Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, and Buried Alive reanimation lines. A four-card infinite-damage loop is the list's high-end finisher.
