Deck overview

This deck is a Vampire tribal aggro-aristocrats engine commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability from the command zone to double creature deployment speed, creating a 1/1 Vampire token whenever any Vampire spell is cast. The early game focuses on curving low-cost creatures like Knight of the Ebon Legion, Dusk Legion Zealot, and Cruel Celebrant to flood the battlefield with evasive and deathtouch threats. In the midgame, anthem lords such as Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, and Bloodline Keeper scale the board's offensive power, while card advantage engines like Welcoming Vampire and Champion of Dusk keep the hand replenished. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 5 by casting Edgar Markov for team-wide counter distribution or resolving Malakir Bloodwitch for massive life drain. If opponents deploy blockers or sweepers, asymmetric board wipes like Olivia's Wrath and mass recursion spells like Patriarch's Bidding ensure relentless pressure to close out the game by Turn 7.
