Deck overview

This deck is an Aristocrats and Board Control engine helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan. It leverages Thanos's unique power-up ability to selectively destroy creatures with odd or even mana values, breaking symmetry through death triggers, token generation, and resilient recursion spells. The early game focuses on generating mana fixing and Treasures through creatures like Shambling Ghast and artifacts like Arcane Signet. In the midgame, the deck establishes sticky death-drain pieces such as Bastion of Remembrance, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and The Meathook Massacre. By activating Thanos with cost reducers or Treasure mana, the deck repeatedly wipes opposing boards while building a massive army of Spirit tokens with Thalisse, Reverent Medium and Anointed Procession. Supported by single-mana protection spells like Feign Death and Cosmic Intervention, the deck outlasts opposing interaction and closes out the game through inevitable life drain and token combat.
