Golbez v2 by user6358423

Format: Commander

Commander: Golbez, Crystal Collector

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector runs an artifact-surveil shell that turns artifact ETBs into graveyard depth and card advantage. The primary plan is to control eight artifacts, put Apocalypse Demon or Consuming Aberration in the graveyard, then let Golbez's end-step trigger return it to hand and drain each opponent for its power. Cut Your Losses, cast with casualty, massively grows the relevant graveyards in one turn: self-mill for Apocalypse Demon, or opponent-mill for Consuming Aberration. Backup paths include Syr Konrad's ping damage, Apocalypse Demon beatdown, and Mirrodin Besieged's one-player kill. Panharmonicon and Wizard's Staff multiply both the surveil and drain triggers. Syr Konrad acts as a hidden commander for the graveyard-exile angle.
