Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a competitive EDH powerhouse centered on Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The primary game plan accelerates Ob Nixilis onto the battlefield on Turn 2 using high-density fast mana like Dark Ritual, Chrome Mox, and Sol Ring. On Turn 3, the deck deploys a deterministic two-card infinite combo with All Will Be One or Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute. Whenever an opponent loses exactly 1 life—often triggered by their own fetchlands or pingers like Orcish Bowmasters—Ob Nixilis gains a +1/+1 counter and exiles a card. All Will Be One then deals 1 damage to an opponent, creating an infinite loop that eliminates all three opponents in a single turn. Backed by universal black tutors, burst card advantage from Ad Nauseam, redirection protection like Deflecting Swat, and alternative win lines through Underworld Breach or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, the deck operates at maximum tournament velocity.
