Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov aristocrats/reanimator shell helmed by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. Every creature entering or dying becomes a resource: Elas, Bastion of Remembrance, Vindictive Vampire, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Syr Konrad, the Grim turn death triggers into table-wide life loss, while Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose converts the lifegain into more drain. The deck is built to go long, using a deep recursion package - Animate Dead, Blood for Bones, Doomed Necromancer, Priest of Fell Rites, Sheoldred // The True Scriptures - to replay value creatures like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Rune-Scarred Demon. The primary finish is a burst turn with Gray Merchant loops amplified by Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, or a giant Aetherflux Reservoir activation. There are no deterministic infinite combos; the engine wins through attrition, recursion, and life-total math.
