Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Beorn the Fierce to lead an aggressive stompy strategy with Bear tribal synergies and +1/+1 counters. The game plan accelerates through green ramp spells during the first three turns, casting Beorn on Turn 4. Beorn grants trample counters and permanently turns other creatures into Bears at the start of combat, triggering a reliable two-card draw engine once you control three Bears. After establishing steady card flow, the deck ramps into overwhelming mid-game threats such as Avenger of Zendikar, Thunderfoot Baloth, Surrak and Goreclaw, and Overrun. These cards turn your board into high-power trample attackers, eliminating opponents one by one between Turns 6 and 8. The deck features strong mana velocity and steady card replenishment through its commander, but it remains susceptible to board sweepers and lacks instant-speed interaction.
