Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red burn and spellslinger strategy commanded by Imodane, the Pyrohammer. The game plan revolves around casting cost-effective single-target damage spells aimed at creatures, which Imodane converts into symmetric noncombat damage dealt to every opponent. By incorporating damage amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, the damage scales quadratically, allowing a single 4- or 5-damage spell to deal lethal damage to all opponents at once. Artifacts like Grafted Exoskeleton provide an alternate one-shot kill via poison counters. The deck supports this game plan with efficient mono-red ramp, burst rituals, impulse card advantage, and graveyard recursion via Underworld Breach and Mizzix's Mastery. While inherently vulnerable to spot removal on its commander and reliant on opponents having targetable creatures, the deck's extreme functional redundancy and sudden lethality make it an explosive threat.
