Grismold 🪦 by WeedHashira

Format: Commander

Commander: Grismold, the Dreadsower

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grismold, the Dreadsower leads a Golgari aristocrats and token-voltron strategy designed to turn symmetrical token generation into lethal advantage. Grismold distributes 1/1 Plant tokens to every player at each of your end steps, then gains a permanent +1/+1 counter whenever any creature token dies. The primary plan accelerates Grismold onto the battlefield, wipes the global board of fragile tokens with effects like Golgari Charm or Massacre Wurm, and swings with an enormous trampling threat. Secondary paths close games across the entire table by flinging a gigantic creature with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, overrunning with Craterhoof Behemoth, or generating overwhelming value through Chatterfang, Squirrel General.
